Seiso: Sweep (Regular Cleaning) • Once you have sorted, organized, arranged and identified all the items in each individual work area and ultimately your entire facility, you need to ensure that you keep it that way. • This would require regular cleaning. Seiketsu: Standardize (Simplify) • Simplify each task and activity so that it can be executed efficiently and effectively • Standardization will increase efficiency and deliver consistent quality. Shitsuke: Sustain • Continuous training • Maintaining the standards • Evaluate and monitor the results of implementing Five S program in your organization. Remove fixed ideas and biases. • Think positive.
